Running Skirts: Yay or Nay?
I played tennis in high school, and I loved that my favorite sport meant that I could get sweaty while still being uber-feminine in a skirt. The only time I ever played tennis in shorts was when all of my skirts or dresses were dirty.
I now, as you know, run frequently. I always made fun of the girls in running skirts, lumping them with the girls who didn’t put their hair up to run (seriously, WTF?) or the girls who wore three layers too many on a not-so-cold day.
But the other day I read an article on running skirts in Women’s Running, and they were pretty cute. I started to rethink my previous stance on running skirts being for the girls who didn’t take running seriously.
Lame or not? What do you think of running skirts?

After I got used to them, I liked running in them alot, and the biker shorts underneath prevent any chafing if you have that problem like me.

I totally want one. I have always preferred skirts to shorts and a running skort (with built in shorts) seems like best of both worlds.

LAME. I love tennis skirts because they’re comfy and breezy, but when I see women running in skirts, I always think, “AMATEUR.”

Wore one once and felt silly like I was trying too hard. Wasn’t comfortable either. Shorts kept riding up underneath. Lame.
