Dos Caminos!

Tonight, my friend Laureen and I went to Dos Caminos for a belated birthday celebration for me!

We started with guacamole (OBVIOUSLY).

…and then I had some tacos asado, aka steak tacos. The portion looked pretty small when the plate came out, but it ended up being the perfect size. (It’s a lot smaller than it looks here.)

We didn’t order dessert, but the manager sent over some Mexican hot chocolate in shot glasses. (He’d also sent over mini empanadas to start with…)

Let it be known: there is no such thing as too much Mexican food in my world. (Sometimes it’s healthier than others…I do usually try to stay away from the super-cheesy stuff.)

About Me

Foodbuzz

After seven years (and probably seven million calories) of living in D.C., I moved to NYC in August 2008. After a few months of eating my way through the city, I realized this had to stop and nipped my temptations in the bud. Here's the story of how a girl lost 50 pounds in the most tempting city known to woman. My next big challenge? The Chicago Marathon. 10.10.10.
