BRB, leaving on a surprise birthday trip to the beach this afternoon.
I have no idea where I’m going–all I know is to bring clothes for warm weather and my passport.
What I do know is that I’ll be going with five of my closest friends, and that–trip or no trip–I am lucky to have such wonderful friends.
You can leave guesses if you want in the comments, but I’m sure at some point I’ll Instagram or tweet where I am.

Oh my goodness how fun! A passport and warm weather are both good things. I just got back from a Caribbean cruise so that is going to be my guess. It was warm and we needed our passports.

I LOVE the idea of a surprise trip. I’ve heard of people having friends pick a location out of a hat for them and book the tickets so that they don’t know where they’re going until their friends send them the travel itinerary the day before. I’m not sure I’d do well with that kind of surprise, but I like the idea of a beach surprise — you can plan for a tropical vacation, regardless of which particular tropical location you’re going to
